Terms and Conditions

Deposits & Payment:  Deposits made are considered partial payment toward the cost of the workshop and holds your spot.  Deposits are not refundable unless another person fills your spot. At which point the deposit is refunded minus an administration fee.  The deposit may also be reapplied to a future retreat once the spot in the current retreat has been filled. Once your full payment has been paid, it is not refundable.  However, if you are no longer able to go, I will help to advertise the open seat so you can receive your money back minus an administrative fee.

Additional money spent on travel preparation are not my responsibility. Travel insurance is recommended. Delays or additional expenses created by weather, illness, etc are the responsibility of the participants.

Should it be necessary for me to cancel the workshop, due to under booking, a refund will be provided in full and this will occur prior to 60 days before the scheduled workshop date. After that point, only severe and unforeseen circumstances, will cancel the workshop. Should I have to cancel due to my own health or family’s emergency situation, retreat funds will be refunded minus the $150 administration fee. Money spent on airfare and travel however is still under participant responsibility.

Kristen Ryan Photography carries business liability insurance and is certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.  Both certificates are available by request. 

All workshop participants will receive and be required to sign an acknowledgement of risks. This will be due with final payment.  In addition to injury or accident impacting one's self, theft or damage to photographic or other equipment is not the responsibility of Kristen Ryan Photography. Insurance protecting your gear is highly recommended. Things do happen and is outside the control of Kristen Ryan Photography.

By attending the workshop, students give permission for images to be taken of themselves in order to promote future workshops. 

By signing up for this workshop, the participant agrees that their physical and mental capabilities are up to the activities involved in this workshop. 

Weather is always unpredictable and I cannot guarantee perfect conditions during our days together. Be prepared for all conditions by bringing proper clothing and gear. Should weather be severe enough to keep us indoors, we will spend the time in valuable discussion of techniques, creativity and post processing.
