Testimonials

I recently attended Kristen Ryan’s Photography retreat in Glacier National Park and it completely exceeded my expectations! Kristen is incredibly knowledgeable and provides a supportive and creative atmosphere. She is passionate about helping each participant grow, giving hands-on practice, and provides personalized feedback and suggestions. The stunning locations added to the experience, offering breathtaking views for all of our shoots. I also loved the opportunity to connect with fellow women photography enthusiasts, sharing ideas and insights. I leave feeling rejuvenated and excited about my photography. I can't recommend this retreat enough—it's a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and community! ~ Nicole S

Magic in Glacier was just that, magical!  I was a little worried about visiting this park as it’s so vast.  But I shouldn’t have been worried with Kristen as our leader.  She is so familiar with the park and knows the best locations for photography.  Kristen is the queen of choosing locations based on weather and time of day to get the most of our experience.  She is always available for questions and encouragement and is gentle with offering suggestions or helping you learn a new technique.  I’ve attended two retreats with Kristen and I’m getting ready to head off with her for my third.  Her retreats include the epic landscapes as well as the intimate.  Lots of laughter are always included and a chance to make new photography friends.  I highly recommend any of Kristen’s retreats!! ~ Sharon H

Glacier was my first workshop, and I went into it not knowing what to really expect. I hoped to learn and be challenged. I certainly was. Both Kristen and Beth took time to cater instruction to every person and every level. I went away from each location with new ideas from both of them. What I really didn’t expect was to make such meaningful connections to them and to the other ladies in the class. Putting myself out there and trying new things created an instant bond with these other women who were willing to do the same. I came away from this workshop with new friends, wonderful images, and a new motivation and inspiration I haven’t felt in my photography for a long time. Definitely very highly recommend! - Tami C
