Experience stunning sunrises and sunsets, magical night skies, and a peaceful time in Banff National Park as Mother Nature transitions into winter.

Skill Level: All skill levels welcome though a solid understanding of shooting in manual is recommended.
Activity Level: Most of our shooting locations will be fairly close to the parking lots though in certain cases we may hike up to a mile. Attendees should be prepared for a flexible yet vigorous schedule planned around chasing the light for the best photographic opportunities.
Investment & Payment Schedule: $3495 for a single occupancy room $1000 nonrefundable deposit due at registration. Final balance due 60 days prior.

Group Size: 8 students max
Not included: Airfare, Transportation to Banff and within the retreat. We will carpool to locations and recommendations to get from the airport to Banff will be given.
Possible shooting locations: Shooting sessions will be timed and chosen based on Mother Nature. Possible locations include, but not limited to nor guaranteed, are Vermilion Lakes, Two Jack Lake, Lake Minnewanka, Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise, Bow Lake, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge, Castle Mountain. Specific itinerary will not be determined until the week before due to the impact of weather conditions.
Itinerary: Participants should be prepared to be flexible in the schedule. Weather and photographic conditions will dictate our schedule for shooting, discussion, meals and sleep. We will take advantage of getting out in the field as much as possible while still providing time for meaningful connection, resting and meals together. Weather in the mountains varies greatly and the forecast can change on a dime. Therefore the itinerary remains flexible and TBD until very close to the retreat and even may change as we go. Safety and health is the top priority and will be kept in mind as we chase the light!
